Mojito 1.2.0 is now Available

Hi All,

Version 1.2.0 of Mojito is now available from the Download page. Changes in this version:
  • A few UI improvements, like new buttons at the top of the TxnData, AccountData, and Reconcile sheets.
  • Fixes to a few bugs.
  • All of the source code for MojitoLib (the code that makes Mojito work) is now available on GitHub:  https://github.com/b3devs/MojitoLib
  • For those who would like to modify the code to their liking, the development process is now easier (though still not "easy" exactly). Sparse instructions are provided on the GitHub page.
Because of the UI changes, you must download a new copy of Mojito to get this new version.

Cheers,
- b3

  1. This tool is super impressive. I just set it up quickly thanks to your easy-to-follow instructions and I cannot even express how excited I am to be able to edit my transaction tags and categories in a spreadsheet format, let alone creating custom budgets. I will definitely be donating. Thanks for sharing with the world!!

  3. Have the authentication headers changed again? I'm not finding track.xevent

  4. It seems that mint.com has changed something in the past few days.

1.2 does not connect, returning "Error: Invalid headers provided."

1.1.6.4 still connects, but does not sync, returning "Unable to determine if Mint is ready. Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token: <"

  5. As of Aug 28 I am getting the same results as B+R for versions 1.2 and 1.1.6.3. mint without mojito is barely worth using. i hope they don't ruin this.

  6. FWIW, I'm occasionally able to find an event in the network log that contains both a cookie and a token, and copying those will sometimes allow mojito to authenticate, though I sometimes have to try twice with the same snippet.

As for the "unable to determine" problem, I have long had that problem when I sync too early in my mint session. That is, sign into mint, let it sync and then wait a few more minutes, and *then* authenticate with mojito.

  7. Google must have updated more on Chrome. I'm now getting this error whenever I try to import transcations:

Exception: UiApp has been deprecated. Please use HtmlService instead.

I looked at the github repo and UiApp is reference all over the Ui.js. Looks like it would be a major overhaul of the UI. I've enjoyed Mojito enough to help, but is/are dev(s) already working on it?

  9. Hey All, sorry for not replying sooner. Gmail doesn't notify me when comments are posted, so I have to remember to go looking for them...

As for the "deprecated" issue, I started working on it. Unfortunately, I have very little spare time because of "life" stuff, so I can only put in an hour here and there, late at night.

I have one or two more dialog windows left to fix. Hopefully I can finish up sometime this week and post the updated library. Stay posted.
